Pick Up Your Cross. This message runs so much deeper than words on fabric. When I imagined this design, I saw Jesus in the moment before the cross. The weight. The tears. The sweat. Knowing exactly what obedience would cost Him. Originally, I wanted to portray Jesus beaten and bloody— the raw reality of His sacrifice. But it was too heavy to capture in an image. So instead, I chose something gentler on the eyes… yet still honest to the heart. Because just because something looks softer doesn’t mean the cost is easy. Being a Christian is hard. Many people believe in God, but only a few truly follow Him— because following Jesus comes with a cost. Carrying your cross doesn’t mean losing who you are. It means becoming who you were always created to be. Carrying your cross means dying to yourself daily. Putting His will before yours. Starving pride and ego. Laying down fear so you can love freely. It means choosing humility over being right. Staying silent when defending yoursel
