French Louis XVI style painted & upholstered swivel chair (1950's)

Painted swivel chair in the Louis XVI taste. The chair has an upholstered internal back with gimp trim and a caned external frame. The seat is caned and fitted with an upholstered box cushion. The seat frame is supported by four turned and fluted legs terminating in a bulb foot.  American, 1950's. Condition: Frame has been painted and reupholstered in a striped silk with gimp trim on the seat back. Light wear to the legs. Wear commensurate with age and use.
