Pair of custom iron & quartz top tables fitted with Maw & Co tiles (1880-90)

Pair of custom painted iron and framed quartz and encaustic tile top tables. The blue quartz tops are fitted with a set of Maw & Co tiles of an Iris transfer print in an interlocking Art Nouveau design. Maw & Co was the leading English tile making firm of the nineteenth century. Shropshire, England, 1880-90. Table fabrication: 2017 Condition: One table has chips to the paint on the bottom of two legs. Overall condition of these tables and tiles is excellent. Wear commensurate with age and use.
