Pair of American cast bell metal brass lemon top andirons. The fire dog balusters are cast in three parts with an oval lemon form finial on waisted pedestal atop a doric column on a square plinth. The arched legs with spurs rest on refined slipper feet, peened to a forged iron log rest. American, Boston, circa 1790. Condition: Wear commensurate with age and use.
