English Staffordshire cider jug with pearlware glaze with light blue band with applied grape vine springs encircling the standing rim between the spout & applied handle. Below below the rim and the reeded shoulder is another light blue enamel band with applied grape vines, and under the spout is a classical urn with flanking floral scrolls. Below is a reeded band encircling the base of the pitcher. Stoke-on-Trent, England, 1820-30. Condition: Excellent original condition. Wear commensurate with age and use.
