Welcome to The Fiddler in Question, a series of 90-minute virtual workshops, featuring 9 fiddlers from across North America who have become masters of their respective styles. These are not your typical "how to play x-style of fiddle" workshops. During each session, we explore these varying styles through the eyes and ears of each fiddler. We focus on how they play, how they learn, and what inspires them each time they pick up their fiddle. The Fiddle Mercantile's Brandon Godman and Leah Wollenberg moderate each session and include an interview, live audience Q&A, post session roundtable discussion to share what attendees found to be notable or interesting. We strive to present a program that will ensure everyone will walk away with something they didn't know before.
