Nice Iron Mountain #8 skillet, made by Griswold in Erie, PA around 1940. These are not marked Griswold and were sold at lower price points in places like hardware and department stores. They are still high quality vintage cast iron and a joy to cook with! It is marked only 8, 1033, on the underside. The distinctive handle shape is also a hallmark of Iron Mountain pans. Measures 10.75" across, 15.5" long including handle and is 2" deep. Professionally restored via electrolysis and given multiple coats of grapeseed oil seasoning. In great condition with no chips, cracks or rust pitting. Sits flat. Minor variations in color should season in with use. Some utensil marks on cooking surface, please see photos. Great for use or display!
