Though he faced social delays that led to isolation and bullying, Russ’s artistic talent shone early and brightly, setting the stage for an extraordinary creative journey. Later in life, Russ discovered he was born with Complete Genesis of the Corpus Callosum (C-ACC), meaning the connection between his brain’s hemispheres was absent. Yet, remarkably, he thrived as a high-functioning individual, his creativity undimmed. Determined to overcome social hurdles, Russ joined a study at the University of California San Francisco and worked with specialists in Utah for two years, mastering communication skills that transformed his life.
