Introduction to Knitting 101

Once through the classes, we encourage you to join our Knit-A-Long groups to take your skills to new levels while choosing the project you want to make most!  The class will begin with information on how to select the correct yarn for the project. Reading yarn labels and selecting needles for the results you want. We cover how to cast on, basic stitches such as knit and purl and how to add a new ball of yarn or color to make stripes. This class focuses on making a scarf or washcloth. Second class focuses on how to cast off and block your project. Classes are held in a series of two 1 hour each over 3 weeks for a total of 2 hours. **Prices do not include materials. Classes are held in
