Every square has been tested in this game, all 64 are responsive to the magnets in the chess pieces. The screen works fine as do all the lights bordering the playing surface. It has been tested with both the included AC supply and batteries. The box has shelf wear on the corners\edges, and some on the face. There is a ding hole on the front right area (at the edge of the picture of the board). The board measures approx. 7 & 7/8" square, the Kings are 1 & 7/8" tall. The felt stickers for the bottom of the pieces have not been applied to the piece
