"This style is very different from a stained glass picture approach. I start with a metal or wood backing. Having sketched the design on the board after it's primed, I glue on chunks of broken colored glass in a paint-by-number style, for a very unique visual experience. I enhance the colored glass with acrylic metallic paints and the final product is sealed with clear resin. These portraits are the most intricate and time consuming, and are priced accordingly, based on size and complexity.
