The book celebrates the rich tradition of the WGA, both on and off the links. This special printing was published by Sleeping Bear Press in 1998 in an edition of 100 and is beautifully bound by Felton Bookbinding Ltd. It is bound in full green leather boards with gilt ruling on the front and back boards, gilt titles and a blind embossed Western Golf Association crest to the front board, raised bands, gilt titles and gilt stamps to the spine, new marbled endpapers bordered with lacy gilt dentelle work, and a matching leather edged green cloth slipcase.  Throughout the 20th century, the American Western Golf Association has been a leader in the golf world through sponsorship of the prestigious Western Open.
