The Bleeker Street Decanter is named after the NYC street that was once known for its intimate dive bars filled with the rebellious music of the 60s and now prides itself on the high-end boutiques of the in-vogue elite. The Bleecker Street Decanter was made for that special bourbon or whiskey, exquisite enough for its own special bottle. Rolf Poeting founded Rolf Glass in 1981 after emigrating from Germany. He came to the United States to expand his family's glass machinery business. The decline of the U.S. glass manufacturing industry, however, made sales very difficult.
