Truman signed and inscribed the dedication page on both volumes with the same inscription reading, “To Parky Morgan, From Harry S. Truman 3/29/58.” The books are displayed in the 1956 dust jackets. Both volumes were published by Doubleday and Company in 1955 and 1956, respectively, and are now housed in a custom-built archival slipcase decorated with an inlaid photo of Truman. Harry S.
