Reusable Glass Straws

Straws were among the many throw-away products being rapidly manufactured by large corporations. Plastic straws quickly became cheaper to produce and more durable than paper. BUT WE KNOW HOW GREATLY IT AFFECTS OUR ENVIRONMENT. This video shows one of the consequences of our bad habits (and it will haunt me forever).  We still have time to change. The thing to remember about plastic straws is this: You can refuse them. When ordering a drink, you can say "without a straw, please" or if you really have to use them, bring your own reusable straw.
