As a donor to Green-Wood, you make so much possible across these 478 acres: ACCESS – All four of Green-Wood’s entrances are open every day of the week! We are proud to welcome 450,000+ visitors each year to our 478 acres of tranquil greenspace. RESTORATION – Expert in-house conservators safeguard the hundreds of thousands of monuments across our grounds, repairing, cleaning, and resetting hundreds of monuments each year.  EDUCATION – Thousands of students come to Green-Wood annually for standards-based school programs in environmental education, history, and art history. Reduced rates for local Title I schools ensure outdoor hands-on education is accessible to all NYC students.  ENVIRONMENT – Planting and caring for hundreds of trees annually ensures the future of this urban greenspace for decades to come. And through our Environmental Research Fellowship, we’re extending the impact of on-site research beyond our gates.  ARTS & CULTURE – From death education and historical tours to
