Fire Island Hosta

This little burst of sunshine comes with a gorgeous surprise: vivid red petioles. Slightly corrugated leaves emerge bright yellow in spring, creating a striking contrast against the red stems. As the season moves along, the foliage softens to a rich chartreuse. In midsummer, lavender blooms rise above the leaves and are perfect for cutting and adding to bouquets.
