PHYSICAL ATTRIBUTES This is a truly beautiful, museum quality relic, a very early antique needle case, masterfully made by skilled hands, intricately engraved and adorned with a large, deep red carnelian stone. This dates to the late 1800’s, with natural patina and wear from age and use. It is heavy for its size, the hinges and closure are still in excellent working order and aligned perfectly.
