While the former is a believer of destiny, the other believes in writing his own fate. Shamsher creates an empire of wealth for his only grandson Kunal through illegal means. And Kunal is sent thousands of miles away to grow up in hardship and poverty under the guidance of Abu Babu who brings up the boy with good values of life. When Kunal is brought back to the estate he is unhappy. He chooses instead to live amongst the poor. This becomes a point of conflict between Shamsher and Abu Babu, and eventually Abu Babu leaves the house. Kunal is hurt by the turn of events.
