About The Hinges: Karen Hancock and Danny Kelly released their first duo CD, Surprise! in 2013 with the contribution of friend and producer Colm Meek. Home recorded and fully self-produced, the 9 songs from that first record are still staples in today’s live sets. By the time of their second record, 2018’s Buzz & Shine, they had begun playing with drummer Robin Toye and bassist Robin Green, which instantly gave the band and the record a richer and more percussive feel.
