
Chair Yoga Certification Course
Want to expand your classes to include people with limited mobility and balance issues or who may find traditional yoga on the mat a bit challenging? Chair yoga is a fantastic solution! This gentle form of yoga is practiced while sitting on a chair or using a chair for support during standing poses. Because it is low-impact, chair yoga is particularly beneficial for older adults, people recovering from injuries, or those with conditions such as arthritis. And in our world where many work remotely or in an office, Chair Yoga is a great way to move or stretch your body when you're stuck at a desk all day. Teach your students 5-10 minute routines they can do while on a Zoom call...or anytime during the day! In this course, you will learn how to safely adjust standard poses to work with a chair for a full body workout, as well as additional skills of pranayama and meditation.
