This is a book compiled for folks just getting into Medieval music. These are tunes found all over the country at renaissance festivals.   I want to give folks new to medieval and early music a clear starting place. I consulted the Cantiga book, several veteran performers and my own experience and came up with a list of 20 popular tunes that would get a new player started. Easy chord structures, a variety of rhythms and popular tunes one might hear around the nation.
