Manitoba Morning is a very choice selection from Martagon Lily breeding. It has rosy red flowers, lavishly marked with yellow and sprinkled with orange spots. Attracts hummingbirds. Somewhat fragrant and very numerous flowers on tall stems. Shade tolerant and somewhat more alkaline tolerant than other Lily types. Needs good drainage and regular watering. May fail to break dormancy and bloom the first season. Slow starter but very enduring. 16-18 cm bulb size.
