Superbloom - Las Jaras

Superbloom refers to the wild flower eruptions in the desert after a wetter than normal season. The winemakers at Las Jaras , whose credo is making wines with energy but balance, deliver an eruption of flavor with a red & white blend of Rhône style grapes grown with a California spin. This “everything but the kitchen sink” blend of Grenache, Mourvèdre, Grenache Blanc, Marsanne, Viognier, Roussane, and Picpoul is a veritable who’s who of Rhône viticulture! This is a totally crazy, complex & unique wine that expresses the essence of new generation wine making in California! The red grapes give the wine its color, the spicy & savory nose and texture, and the white grapes impart salted watermelon and rhubarb notes with a clean mineral finish!
