Baphomet of Mendes Chalice / Goblet

9" inches tall, cold cast resin with steel insert, strikingly painted in a darkened and sinister gold with black highlights. A large and intricately detailed with the subtle symbolism of the Sabbatic Goat, known by Eliphaz Levi as the Baphomet of Mendes. Featuring the head of the Beast, the Goat (with subtle elements including the bull, dog, and ass that symbolizes mastery of the material and life cycle of carnal existence) is winged with the Torch of Luciferian Light (the Black Flame) between the Two Horns. The ascendant pentagram, in this context representing human intelligence, is seemingly a blazing star inherent by the fiery candle/torch as the Luciferian meaning of self-actualized awareness and individual potential. The chalice is supported by the Caduceus Serpents and snake-scales beneath, all ascending from the inverted pentagram of Left-Hand Path mastery.
