Ereshkigal is a Sumerian Goddess & ruler of the Underworld & her underlings we’re called “the lilitu”. Ereshkigal or “Pagan Lilith” is an icon, symbol and representation of a dark Goddess. She promotes feminine identity, sexuality, liberation and empowerment. It is said “Lilith” was the name given once she was adapted into Judaic mythology & she was the first wife of Adam who refused to be subservient. She returned as a serpent and gave Eve the apple from the Tree of Knowledge.
