The Maker Writer Desk

Inspired by a Louis XVI style table, master blacksmith Olivier Le Clerc hand forged this steel desk in France for The Maker Hotel. When our founder Lev discovered Oliver’s work, he was astounded with his talent to make hard steel look like carved wood. They collaborated to create custom pieces for The Maker found throughout the property and in nearly every guest room. This desk strikes the perfect balance between delicate and industrial, with its sensuous lines and customized dark patina finish. The perfect accent piece for a bedroom, library or entry.
