This expression has been released as part of The Balvenie Triple Cask range including a 12 year old and a 16 year old single malt whiskies. The Balvenie 25 year old Triple Cask combines The Balvenie whiskies that have matured in three types of cask – first-fill bourbon, refill bourbon and sherry. This blend is then married in a large wooden vessel known as a marrying tun. This recipe is refined over time by the distillery Malt Master, David Stewart giving to each whisky the distillery’s distinctive rich, smooth and honeyed style.
