LetterPress Chocolate Ghana 70% Dark Chocolate with Sea Salt
This bar... what can we say? It's like eating the crispy edges of a dark chocolate brownie studded with bits of crunchy salt. Ashanti is a cocoa growing region of Ghana that has been plagued with slave labor and poor prices for farmers. Thanks to the organization at COCOBOD in Ghana, LetterPress has secured ethically-produced cacao beans and pays more than 2x the commodity price to help farmers make a living wage. Letterpress is a small batch bean-to-bar chocolate company. They hand-sort, roast, crack, winnow, grind at least 48 hours, age for at least a month, then temper, mold and wrap all of their bars in-house to bring out the purest expression of each bean they source. Tasting notes: salted brownie, graham crackerIngredients: Cacao, organic unrefined cane sugar, organic cocoa butter, fleur de sel Net Weight: 2oz / 57g Made in Los Angeles!
