Fantasy Templar Helm

The Fantasy Templar Helm is a helmet inspired by the Knights Templars (1119-1312) and the Crusades but is also a historically accurate example of an early 14th Century Great Helm that had reached maturity in form and design and leak protection.   So who were the Knights Templar – Following the First Crusade the holy land was a dangerous place to travel and a group of nine knights suggested to King Baldwin of Jerusalem that they establish a monastic order to protect pilgrims?
