In planning for an October show, I wanted to lean into the quirky bug paintings I have been enjoying and finally start something that has long been on my inspiration list, crabs! Growing up on the coast, I have had a love for crabs since a very young age. The colors, the details, the textures and the personalities that shine through were really motivating for this series. In naming the series, I incorporated another deep love of mine, Game of Thrones. I named each painting after a character from the series I felt was embodied in the finished piece." - Fraser
