LAKE SUPERIOR "FIRELITE" UV STONE

This listing is for (1) "Firelite" Stone, which will be intuitively selected. These are naturally found at Lake Superior and are technically fluorescent Sodalite-rich Syenite (see fluorescent photo under UV light - no filter!). Some fluoresce more than others, but they do each have fluorescent spots (as pictured). These are thought to have come to Lake Superior from Canada by way of glacier.  Each is approx. 18-40g Please note: you will need a quality UV light to really see their glow. These UV photos were taken with a longwave 365nm filtered UV flashlight - this is the UV light I'd personally recommend. Lower quality and cheaper UVs may not show the same level of fluorescence.
