Kitten Wet Specimen

Ethically sourced. A friend discovered two newborn kittens in his yard and rescued them from his dogs. He waited for the mother to return, but she never came back. Even with his experience as a breeder and providing immediate, round-the-clock care, the kittens were simply too young and fragile to survive without their mother. Nothing more could have been done. To honor them, I chose to preserve the siblings together as, meaningful piece. Wet specimens are a traditional form of taxidermy in which biological samples are preserved and displayed in fluid. They make excellent educational tools and stand-out conversational pieces—perfect for collectors, educators, and anyone who appreciates unique natural curiosities. Note: The preserved snake and jar will be shipped without liquid. Upon arrival, simply fill the jar with 70% isopropyl alcohol to complete the display.
