SKS Lock Cores

SKS stands for "same key system." These 2 cores enable you to lock all of your yakima products with just one key. Yakima makes it easy with their SKS "Same Key System" lock cores. Usage: SKS Cores for the towers. Most carriers and accessories are SKS lockable directly or with an Accessory Lock Core Housing. The SKS Locking Cable is available for additional security - requires a SKS Core. SKS Lock Cores included with Yakima cargo boxes are removable, replace the core with a matching core from a pack to maintain the Same Key System. Details: Core packs include two numbered keys and a control key for installation and removal of cores. Cores have the key number engraved on the side - away from clever thief's eyes. Register your keys directly with Yakima when you receive them. We can provide matching keys or lock cores, pending availability from Yakima.
