This beautifully crafted boat-shaped aluminium bowl features artwork by Judy Napangardi Watson, depicting the Mina Mina Dreaming. Mina Mina is a sacred site far west of Yuendumu, significant to Napangardi and Napanangka women, who are the custodians of the stories and ceremonies connected to the area. The artwork represents the ancestral journey of a group of women who travelled east from Mina Mina, gathering bush foods and performing ceremonies that shaped the land. Judy’s design reflects the powerful movement, energy, and cultural richness of this journey, transforming a functional object into a meaningful piece of Indigenous Australian art.  Royalties directly benefit the artist.
