This Used Fender Custom Shop 61 Telecaster Journeyman Relic in Faded Salmon Pink is here on consignment. The neck is straight, the frets are still crowned, and the truss rod functions properly. Included with the guitar are the original hardshell case and certificate of authenticity.  We tend to focus on the 50s Tele and their Swamp Ash body, so we've kinda neglected the Alder and Rosewood combo. The late 1950s and early 1960s saw some notable changes in the Tele from tonewood choice, to pickup material, to saddle material. These changes made this Tele play nicer with louder, distorted amps. Just ask Jimmy Page! Our 1961 Telecaster Journeyman Relics start with an Alder Body.  This guitar weighs 7 lbs 6 oz, which is a good weight for an Alder/Rosewood combo. Alder is less bright than Swamp Ash and has a more prominent low end and mids.
