The torrification process removes excess moisture from the wood, making it more resilient throughout changes in the weather, as well as gives the guitar an already-seasoned tone right out of the case from the first strum. The bracing pattern used is the Taylor C-Class bracing. Featuring an asymmetrical, cantilevered design (thus the “C” in C-Class), this unique architecture emphasizes the lower frequencies to produce a surprisingly powerful bass response from a smaller-bodied guitar.
