Pilgrim Wall Lantern

The Pilgrim Lantern can be found on several early American homes with Cape Cod architecture, many of which are located on Old King’s Highway. Historically, the lantern’s unique canopy and two rounded hoods allowed smoke to escape and the candle to burn, while the lantern itself remained cool to the touch. Its colonial design pays homage to the lanterns of early American settlements.
