NYPL Arctic Fox Rainbow Decal

For centuries, what lies above the Arctic Circle has been a source of intrigue and fascination for those who live below its border. Inspired by NYPL's exhibition The Awe of the Arctic, we've created prismatic decals featuring some of the Arctic's most iconic dwellers.  The Arctic fox is so well-adapted to the harsh conditions of the Arctic that it doesn't have to hibernate. In warmer weather its thick white winter fur sheds, replaced by thinner fur that matches its surroundings. An artful accent for any window, these critters create miniature rainbows with sunlight.
