Robin Wood / Spoon Knife / Open Curve (Right Hand)
Made in the shop of Robin Wood in Hope Valley, England from excellent high alloy steel, very hard and tough so they hold an edge for a long time. They come razor sharp and ready to use. The handles are beech and around 7.5″ long. This is a little longer than most knife makers use and Robin says he find it allows a greater range of grips to be used efficiently. This is the right handed blade with an open curve Robin finds the best when carving spoons. He recommends looking at the compound curve for an all-purpose shape for carving shallow spoons, ladles and kuksas. li:first-child{border-left: 0px solid #dbdbdb;} body, p { font:300 14px/1.5em 'Open Sans', arial, sans-serif;color:#555555; } h1 { font:bold 28px/1.2em 'Quattrocento', arial, sans-serif;color:#222222; }h2 { font:bold 24px/1.2em 'Quattrocento', arial, sans-serif;color:#222222; }h3 { font:normal 20px/1.2em 'Quattrocento', arial, sans-serif;color:#222222; }h4 { font:normal 16px/1.2em 'Quattrocento', ari
