Black Check Oval Platter

This oval shaped ceramic platter is made by hand with a dark, charcoal-colored stoneware clay body. The platter was hand formed, sanded, and refined and then hand-painted with black glaze in a checkered pattern using a glossy surfaced glaze, alternating with the raw, exposed clay surface. A beautiful black-on-black combo for charcuterie and cheese spreads, or even as a decorative catchall for your favorite scented candle and other trinkets to rest on your coffee table.  Handle with care and wash by hand.  13 1/2" long and 10 1/2” wide
