NOTE FOR WHEN I INSTALLED MY OWN: Take your time and route the wire properly and drill a 1/4 hole in the rubber grommet under the passenger seat and plastic covers on the tailgate to route the wire. You want to run the wire to the passenger side door and it will tie into the green and red wire. Go to auto parts store and ask for “t-tap connectors.” They are easy to use and allow you to disconnect the wire with a spade connector. Just a heads up, the sheet metal can have some burs that snag as you use it. You can file those down or let them wear down naturally.
