Female Mountain Bluebird Spiral notebook
Promote Self-Reflection A notebook isn’t just a place to record moments; it’s where we capture the stories that unfold before us. The moments when everything aligns—the preparation, the anticipation, the reward. Like the day I found my perfect spot, camera in hand, ready for the mountain bluebirds. With my Sony A7III and 200-600mm lens, I was set. And sure enough, my first subjects appeared almost immediately—a couple of curious bluebirds, their sharp eyes scanning the scene. These little wonders can spot insects from 50 yards away, making them exceptional hunters. The female, in charge of nest building, carries materials in her bill—like the one I witnessed as she flew by. Meanwhile, the male kept a watchful eye, guarding both territory and mate. Their life is a beautiful cycle of care and dedication, often raising two, sometimes three broods a season. Some stories are best captured in ink and photos. Write them down. Keep them forever.
