Woodpecker Photo

We went camping for two nights and three days in twin creek. Every day I woke up very early and went to a pond to see what would show up. I was looking toward the pond when I heard a Red-naped sapsucker, a woodpecker. I got excited when I heard it. It sounded like someone was knocking on a door. So I listen and try to find where the sound is coming from. This time I was clumsy trying to get the camera ready. I had to change my setup completely. I was so nervous that my little friend would be gone. Sometimes is a little bit frustrating not being able to use my right hand properly (I have Cerebral Palsy). I finally conquered my frustration and got the camera where I wanted it. This was the only photo that I took of the woodpecker. It is my first woodpecker, and I’m very proud of the picture and the moment. Thank you, Lord, for allowing me to conquer my frustration.All the photos are taken by: Julieta Belmont.
