Xenophon’s Ἀγησίλαος (Advanced Greek Conversation)

Fri., 12pm (U.S. Eastern Time) Course Description: In this course, students will read and discuss excerpts from Xenophon’s Ἀγησίλαος in the original language. The text is an ancient biography written about Agesilaus II who was one of the most important kings of Sparta and a good friend of the author himself. Besides the historical aspect, special attention will be paid to the acquisition of new vocabulary.
