Direct To Metal Primer

DTM Primer is a water-based, 100% acrylic direct-to-metal coating that seals, primes, and shields metal surfaces. Formulated with rust-inhibitive pigments, it prevents oxidation and protects against future corrosion while delivering the smooth, low-VOC application you expect from our Stain-blocking Primer. This primer can be brushed or rolled straight onto bare or lightly rusted steel, galvanized panels, or previously painted metal. Also suitable for wood, masonry, and most previously coated substrates, our Direct To Metal can stand alone as a prime-and-finish system or serve as the foundation for any of our architectural topcoats.
