Kakimori's Potari inks are richly colored pigment inks inspired by Japanese onomatopoeia and wordplay. Each color is associated with a familiar sound or feeling. Koton is a black ink. Kakimori describes it as "the silence of the night [...] punctuated by koton, the sound of an ink bottle being placed on the desk. A colour for quiet contemplation." These gorgeous inks come in asymmetrical glass bottles designed to resemble potari, or falling drops. The bottles have a wide, stable base and a wide neck that makes it easy to fill your pen, and the pigmented inks are water- and fade-resistant. They're thick enough to use with dip pens and calligraphy brushes, and smooth enough to work in a fountain pen. Note that pigmented inks may clog your fountain pen if they're left to dry out inside. 35 ml bottle Pigment-based fountain pen ink Looking for a different shade of ink?
