Christian Ulbricht Goldfinch nutcracker with box. Signed on the bottom. This charming nutcracker has a very unique appearance! Rather than taking on the classic nutcracker shape, this guy is shaped like bird. The yellow colored finch has a red beak, black spot on its head, and brown wings. The bird sits on a circular wooden stand. The nutcracker feature of this piece is placed between the head and body. The "neck" of the bird has a hinge that allows the head to be lifted up and pushed down to crack nuts. The nutcracker has some slight crazing, noticeable on its head.
