Toad Thread Conditioner

  Add a playful touch to your sewing tool box with this quirky beeswax toad! Not only does it keep your thread strong and tangle-free, but it also looks great on your sewing table. Each toad comes with a glass "specimen" box and a bit of preserved moss, making it a special and unique gift for any sewing lover. Handmade from 100% raw beeswax sourced from a small farm in Washington, these toads are individually hand-poured in small batches in our studio. Each specimen label has been individually hand distressed.Run the thread in between your thumb and the wax toad to help strengthen, straighten and smooth the thread making it easier to manage while hand sewing. Wonderful for embroidery or when mending clothing.  Don't worry, if your toad develops a white film that's called a "bloom" and it's just the sign of its purity.
