March Afterschool Art: 3:30pm-5pm

“To be an artist is to notice, observe, and interpret the world around you in a unique and meaningful way.”  Our theme for this month is Whimsical Wanderers. Students will tap into the art of observation & adventure, while exploring social-emotional topics such as mindfulness, thought awareness and tools for relieving anxiety. Sample projects: wonder walks, mapping your day, and color your mood.  DETAILS: Tuesdays, March 4, 11, 18th @ 3:30-5pm The Playful Space Studio: 2024 20th Street, Bakersfield, CA 93301 Small Group: 6-8 students Ages: 10-13 Our afterschool art classes are geared toward ages 10-15 who want to walk away with a fun, playful art experience, new connections, and art skills. Our classes create a safe environment for practicing social emotional intelligence and building confidence to be accessed in all areas of your child's life.
